Who is IFC?

The Interfraternal community at San Jose State is currently comprised of twelve individual chapters. Our chapters range in size, but all have incredibly diverse memberships. Each organization prescribes to its' own set of foundational values; values that are in place to help hold members to a higher standard and ultimately, produce better men.

Alpha Epsilon Pi

Yoni Feldman

Being an immigrant from Israel, Yoni learned to strive to be the best in whatever he does. He's passionate about bringing out the best in people in order for everyone to succeed.

About AEPi

The Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity is the largest fraternity based on Jewish Values around the globe. Founded in 1913, we have over 172 chapters across the nation as well as Canada, United Kingdom, France, Austria ,Israel and Australia. The San Jose State chapter was brought on campus on August 5th 2013, and since then we have doubled our numbers for the last three years.

Alpha Sigma Phi

Jose Carranza

Jose is the third president of the Eta Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at San Jose State University. Always open to new ideas, his hobbies include billiards, volleyball and Taco Tuesdays.

On November 21, 2015, Alpha Sigma Phi became the newest chapter at San Jose State University. We are small but mighty, always upholding the values most dear to us: Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, and Patriotism.

Alpha Tau Omega

Stephen Watson

Stephen Watson is a hardworking individual who dedicates himself to both the fraternity and his education. He values loyalty and dedication and his goals as President are to build a stronger relationship between ATO's active members and their alumni, bringing the Greek community together, and further strengthen the brotherhood within the chapter.

About ATO

Alpha Tau Omega has a rich history at San Jose State University. In recent years, ATO was able to maintain the highest GPA in IFC for Fall 2015 at a 3.0. Additionally, ATO has hosted and participated in many successful philanthropic, athletic, and social events, including raising $10,000 for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital via their Spring 2016 philanthropy, Miss Omega.

I am a 3rd year history/political science major from Los Angeles, CA. My pastimes include camping, hiking, traveling and playing the guitar.

The Zeta Eta chapter of Beta Theta Pi began at San Jose State in 1995. We have been consistently growing and improving over the last 21 years and have gotten recognition from our national organization for our growth. We pride ourselves on our diversity, having brothers from many different ethnic backgrounds and brothers born in 5 different countries.

Nathan Zavala

Nathan Zavala a fourth year Sociology major with career interests in Law Enforcement was initiated into Delta Sigma Phi during the Fall 2013 semester. He's from Southern California, and enjoys hobbies including: playing sports, outdoor adventures, and running.

Jim Rollison

The current president Jim Rollison is from Vacaville California and is in the college of business here at San Jose State. He pledged back in Fall 2012.

About DU

Delta Upsilon is the sixth oldest international collegiate Greek-letter organization, and is the oldest non-secret fraternity in North America. We were reinstated back at SJSU in 1984. SJDU currently has 73 active brothers with a beautiful house that was rebuilt in 2007.

Kappa Sigma

As president, my number one focus is to keep the brothers united and motivated. This can be accomplished by communication, leading by example, and providing them a college experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

I am currently a 4th year student at San Jose State University studying Kinesiology and Business. As president of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, I assume many different expectations that tie in with the university, local alumni, and the International Fraternity for strength and stability within the chapter

My name is Johannsen Tan and I am the current president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon California Zeta. I am proud to lead these group of men to higher ideals in the aspects of scholarship, brotherhood, socialization, and fraternity.

About SAE

Sigma Alpha Epsilon is the largest North American Greek-letter social college fraternity. The California Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at San José State University began as an interest group of 9 people in Fall 2005 and officially recolonized on November 5, 2005. In the past year, we have raised over $8000 dollars for charity and do 154 hours of service for philanthropy.

Blake Perry is a dedicated leader with a passion for improving the organization. He puts nothing above his desire to strengthen the already tight bonds between the brotherhood of Sigma Chi and the surrounding community through committed philanthropy and community service.

About Sigma Chi

The San Jose State Epsilon Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi was founded on March 1, 1952. Since that time​​ we have prided ourselves on carrying the values of friendship, justice, and learning throughout the community. As of this Spring 2016, we were able to host one of our most successful annual philanthropies to date, Derby Days. With the help of the greek community we raised over $15,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute and Children's Miracle Network.

The Commander (President) at Sigma Nu Fraternity is Shane Gooch. Shane Gooch is a senior studying Political Science and Philosophy, he hopes to attend law school after undergraduate and pursue a career in public service.
